James Kemp
James Kemp was a member of the Business Design Authority until 2nd September 2015. From Monday 7th September 2015 he is on loan to the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.

I'm really a generalist and have worked in a whole load of different civil service jobs. You can find my whole CV on linkedin if you are interested.
Here's my leadership story.
What I do outside my day job.
- I'm a school governor at my local primary school and help by chairing their finance & resources committee, am the lead governor on IT and also part of the Head's evaluation panel.
- I'm also an assistant cub scout leader with Clark Pack of the 5th Reigate Cub Scouts.
- I'm also over half way through a BA in Business and Leadership with the Open University. My current module finishes with an exam on 4th June 2015 and I ought to be finished the degree in 2017 (two more modules to go - B204 - Making it Happen! Leadership, Influencing and Change and T317 - Innovation: designing for change.
- There are other things too,
- I write science fiction and poetry,
- blog frequently and
- spend as much time as I can with my wife and children.
